Geographic Distribution and Seasonal Composition of Reproductive Types of Onion Thrips, <i>Thrips tabaci</i> Lindeman in Kyoto Prefecture

The relative abundance of the reproductive types Thrips tabaci Lindeman was occasionally surveyed by collecting female adults from foliage commercially grown Welsh onions, and cabbages at various locations in Kyoto Prefecture between 2016 2018. Arrhenotokous females were found 39 46 sites coexisted with thelytokous 26 sites, which arrhenotokous composition higher than that 19 sites. type dominant City Kumiyama Town, to be areas north Fukuchiyama City. In cabbage, only observed. seasonal T. additionally onion plants greenhouses Kameoka City, Prefecture, November June 2019. Thelytokous March 2017 dominated April 2018, except for January After May again.
